As with the Cabernet/Merlot, the grapes are harvested and fermented separately and matured for 10 months in oak with one third in new oak.
Deep ruby in colour with pronounced aromas of black plums,sweet spices and smoke.
Dry with noticeable acidity and ripe but slightly grippy tannins and flavours of plums and with a savoury minerality. Well structured
and a long finish with good ageing potential.
